Work hard. Play hard. Boom Bolenath!
Work hard with us, and together, we’ll prepare and share 3 sumptuous meals a day, and sleep in our Shanti Shala accommodation. You’ll have loads of fun, and meet super cool friends who share the dream of a sustainable future. 24-hour electricity and clean running water from our own well, pretty good WIFI, warm indoor & outdoor shower, and there’s even a swimming pool in the summer!
We work 5 hours a day (5 days a week) and cook 1 meal outside working hours, but we play hard too! Do note that our daily activities are subject to weather and workload, and we might assign you a different position from time to time, so you get to experience even more! Let’s put all our skills into good use, learn from one another, and make our time together a beautiful and fruitful one!
Come work with Mother Nature
Our volunteers form the cornerstone of Global Tribe’s activities. Together, we maintain this beautiful space, build new spaces, run the camping and guesthouse, give love to our vegetable garden, and bring to the table countless new ideas everyday. This is why it’s important for everyone who signs up for this role to be committed during their length of stay.
Read more about the job scopes and commitments before we begin, because it’s good that we all know what we’re getting into.
Now, who said the revolution was going to be easy?

The sustainable motor of the project are the numerous guest passing by to visit and get inspired, learn about self-sufficiency, join or even co-create workshops and sharing skills and knowledge.
At the Tribe, we are always very humbled to show guests our way of life. We have chosen this lifestyle because we believe it is the healthiest, most sustainable way of making the world a better place. Every guest that arrives here is a chance for us to inspire them to live healthier, live simpler, and live more sustainably.

Biodynamic artist /Garden:
Volunteers will also be initiated into the biodynamic way of life – the highest, most natural form of sustainable farming.
We will prepare our medicinal homeopathic potions and feeding them to our crops. We mix herbs, extracts, and minerals to create fertilizers and natural pesticides.
Our lovely garden is also home to orange trees, olive trees, different vegetables, herbs, nuts, spices, fruits, and flowers. We all help to keep them healthy and happy.
This includes watering, weeding, rotation of crops, planting crop cover, trimming, pruning, sowing new seeds and sprouts, nursing etc. You know, all to make our natural community grow well and live well.
Before you sign up
Commitment
Biodynamic living is a full-time commitment. When you pick a date to come, we’ll start planning you into our schedule to make sure every area is taken care of at Global Tribe. If you’re unable to commit to the date and full duration of stay, please do not sign up yet. Every little cancellation/postponement makes things really messy for our day-to-day operations. The minimum stay required is 3 months; every new Tribe member needs at least a week or two to be properly introduced to everything and get familiar with how things work. A 50€ deposit will be asked upon arrival to be returned after completion of the full agreed stay.
To keep a clean and beautiful living space, we need everyone to be mindful of their own surroundings, footprints, waste, and impact. We clean up after ourselves, help each other out, share openly, and take care of one another.
Food and stuff
All meals are vegetarian, organic and freshly harvest from our garden. If you have any dietary requirements (intolerances, allergies, restrictions), please let us know in advance and bring along your own food. Meals are usually prepared for the whole Tribe to eat all together, so it could be difficult to cater to everyone’s individual needs.
Just like in any shared living space, we all participate in the cooking and cleaning so make sure you bring your best recipes along.
Yoga, meditation, visual arts, ant-watching workshops… anything is possible! If you wish to see it happen, you can make it happen. We welcome everyone, whatever your skill or talent, to lead or participate in fun activities with a bunch of enthusiastic learners.
Bring whatever medication or first aid that you need.
Bring your summer clothes, swimwear, reusable water bottle, hat, bug spray and sunscreen. Winter clothes for winter months.
All toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower soap, etc) must be biodegradable. We reuse the grey water for our non fruit-bearing plants and are ecologically certified, so let’s be mindful of what we return to the ground and let’s stay free of chemicals.
If you’re arriving with a car or caravan and prefer to sleep in it, you’re very welcome to park in our space!
Please note we are unable to accept volunteers under 24 years of age at this time.
If instead you would like to join us as a guest, any age any amount of time. You can simply make your reservation here.
We also welcome short- and long-term stayers! Explore your options here.
